Have you ever come across a blog or photography tutorial that showcases stunning artificially lit shots that are explained in a caption following the image, usually using a volley of technical terms and lighting types and brands positioned at angles and distances that are hard to picture in your mind?
Well this has happened to me countless times this week alone. So I went looking for a solution… and blow me down if I didn’t find EXACTLY what I was looking for. Now I don’t do a lot of shooting of this type myself… yet. But I hope to get more into it in the coming years and you can be sure that to help you all out in visualising the shots that I create, I will use something like “Sylights”.
Sylights allows you to create stylish lighting diagrams online using an intuitive interface that makes it really easy to create accurate and simple diagrams in no time. All the tools are at your fingertips to produce helpful diagrams which you can add captions and descriptions to, and then save and share with your friends and peers as well as the Sylights community.
To make your Sylights experience worthwhile, you will need to sign up for a free account, but thereafter the sky’s the limit.
No excuses anymore photogs. Make it easy for your devoted army of followers/fans, and give Sylights a go.
